The check

The sky check is free and is an estimate. Passes more than a week away are predicted from today’s published orbits and can move; cloud odds come from past years. Nothing on this page books a satellite.

Booking

A booking happens only after we write to you with the plan and you agree to it in writing. The price for one capture, the layout plan, a backup morning and a framed print is $590 unless we agree otherwise.

Weather and passes

Satellites and clouds are outside anyone’s control. If clouds or a missed pass spoil both the planned morning and the backup morning, we try again on a date you choose or refund you in full.

The image

Satellite images are licensed by the satellite operators. You get the image for personal use: prints, sharing with family and friends, and posting on your own social accounts.

Illustrations

The example images on this page are illustrations of what 30–50 cm satellite imagery shows, not photos of real events.
